Belgium!

First off, I don't know why but I feel like the sky is interesting here; different.

So my first day in Belgium I went into the town which my sister lives called Hasselt.
It is a cute small cozy town. There is a shopping street going down the middle of it, and lots of churches.

This one was small, and very nice. I dig churches.

This church was locked so I couldn't go inside, but it was still very cool.

I did a bit more exploring, saw some more churches, got ice cream and headed back to Veerle's place for the night.

Today, Veerle and I went to a town nearby Hasselt called Liege.
On the way we stopped at a hill above the town, and got some amazing views.

I thought it looked nice but she insisted it wasn't the best area, I was unsure of this until we saw a drug deal in broad daylight. Crack addicts around and such. We witnessed two more deals throughout the trip, it was great. I still like it.

We saw another cathedral named St. Paul's and this was very beautiful as well, however we couldn't go inside, as it was closed.

We then had some pancakes, and went exploring for a little longer before going to the car.

On the way back we stopped at the Liège-Guillemins, this beautiful train station;

I loved this. Afterwards we headed home and have been relaxing ever since!
I'm having a great time, and am so happy about all of this, and the future, short and long term.

Just for the record, my website has not been updated because I have not resized pictures in order to put them on. I will do so once in Italy and keep up on the site from then on.

God Amsterdam, it was a wonderful place.

Hey everyone, I'm just at my sisters now in Belgium blogging for the first time since London because I could not get to a computer in that Dam place. ( I love Amsterdam puns)
Well here it is!

It rained one day I was there, and other than that it was beautiful as you can see here and on Facebook
I spent most of my time wandering around aimlessly and shooting pictures, it was great, I did visit the Anne Frank museum which was pretty amazing; other than that, I met a load of fun people, and often struggled to find a decent meal.

The nightlife is as crazy as you might expect, I only really went out for one night of it, it's so very expensive. Didn't get any prostitutes. Boy did I tempt them though.

I enjoyed it though when I go back, it will not be alone. Any takers?

London day 2

So today I started my day going into London Bridge station, and went to Tate Modern, there was so much amazing art, and there was a special Joan Miro exhibit there, he was a great surrealist, and I advise everyone to check his work out!

Then I wandered across a cool pedestrian bridge towards St. Paul's Cathedral

Inside they request no photos be taken which is a shame because it is the most magnificent and beautiful piece of art in itself, theres paintings all over the ceilings and it is absolutely breath taking.

From there I went exploring along some random streets, and found the Christ Church of Greyfriars, this was a smaller yet very old seeming church, I found it interesting, and just took a look from the outside.

I then went to another church called St. Bartholomew Church which dated back to circa 1300

There were graves there that were so old that the engravings were gone! I loved it. Unfortunately the church charged for entry so I didn't go in. From there I wandered back to the London Bridge, crossed it and walked down the river to the Tower Bridge.

That was pretty sweet. Made me want to watch Sherlock Holmes. From there I journeyed back to Pamela and Paul's and here I am.

I'm having such a great time, and I'm really excited about a lot of these pictures and hope everyone is enjoying them. One more day here then it's time to party in Amsterdam!

London day 1 - part 2

Well now that I'm awake again I can continue, so after I had gone through the Buckingham Palace gardens

I proceeded to explore and such, then I wandered my way over to Westminster Cathedral, It was beautiful and I took some panoramic shots from wayy up....

There^
And those will be on Facebook shortly...along with many pictures from inside.

After that, I came back to Pamela's and her I and Paul went into town, they went to a show while I went to explore by Big Ben, I spent literally 3 hours there taking pictures.

Once again there will be more on Facebook.
But feel free to comment here on any photos you like, I love everyones support and am SO excited and blown away that I get this opportunity.

I'm going to the Tate Modern Museum today, and hopefully the sun will shine some and I can go outside a bit more. Fingers crossed.

London day 1 part 1

I made it!
With a little drama (misread my flight time, almost was absolutely late, but my flight was late instead) but I made it. The flight looked like this.

I'm staying with Pamela and Paul, they are such an awesome welcome to Europe. This isn't a link, it just wont stop doing this. But yeah so I'm staying in Nunhead, it's awesome.

Today I went to Buckingham Palace and saw the guards march and change, it was like a mini parade.

There was a beautiful garden, and lots of birds that were very friendly

Later I went and saw Big Ben, got so many amazing pictures. Like this.

Theres many many more to come, all the pictures will be on Facebook and I'll post another one tomorrow. I'm tired. Goodnight people!
